Canvas (Content Kit)

Canvas is VerityWriter's carousel generator. Pick a pillar, pick a topic, pick a reference — get a platform-sized carousel back in 1-2 minutes.

Creating your first kit

1. Activate a Brand Persona first. (Canvas reads voice from it.)
2. Open Canvas in the sidebar, click + New Kit.
3. Pick a content pillar (or create one — pillars are reusable content topics).
4. Pick a content type: Quick Social or Deep Insight.
5. Provide a source:
   • Existing investigation
   • Trend Radar reference
   • Paste raw text
6. Click Generate.

You'll get back:

• 5-10 slides (cover, content, data, quote, CTA)
• Platform-sized exports for Instagram, LinkedIn, X
• Captions per platform
• 3 hook variants per platform

Surgical regeneration

Every slide is independently regeneratable. No need to rebuild the whole kit when one slide is off.

Per-slide regeneration endpoints:

• Backgrounds — change visual style without touching text
• Captions — regenerate per-platform captions with tone adjustments
• Hooks — generate alternate hook variants
• Visuals — regenerate entire slide visual via Gemini

Templates

Every kit runs through a template. Templates define:

• Layout archetype (editorial, data-heavy, quote-led, etc.)
• Text density rules per slide role
• Aspect ratio and platform sizing

Switch templates at any time without regenerating — the content flows into the new template.

Platform output

Supported export formats:

• PNG slides — individual files for manual posting
• ZIP bundle — all slides + captions + hooks
• Native sizing — Instagram (1080x1350), LinkedIn (1200x1200), X thread cards

Video export (for Reels/Shorts/TikTok with voiceover) ships Q3 2026.

Credits

• Standard kit (5-10 slides): ~15-30 credits
• Per-slide regeneration: 2-5 credits
• Caption regeneration: 1 credit per platform

Common gotchas

• "Generation failed" — usually a persona mismatch (e.g., mismatched pillar-to-persona). Double-check your active persona.
• "Visual quality looks off" — swap template, or regenerate the visual layer only.
• "Hooks feel generic" — upload writing samples to your Brand Persona. Samples are the single biggest lever on hook quality.
