Terms of Service

By accessing or using VerityWriter (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to anyone who accesses or uses the Service, including free and paying users.

VerityWriter is a content creation platform that helps you discover trending topics, generate editable carousels and magazines, and plan your content schedule.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of breaking changes.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need parental consent.

You retain full ownership of the content you create, upload, or generate using VerityWriter. We do not claim rights to your work.

We do not use your content or writing samples to train shared AI models. Your Brand Persona data stays tied to your account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any source material you upload. Do not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Do not use the Service to generate or distribute illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or content intended to deceive others (e.g., deepfakes of real people without consent).

Do not abuse rate limits, scrape the Service, or attempt to reverse engineer our systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via the pricing tier you selected. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Pro-rated refunds are available within 7 days of a new subscription purchase if the Service has not been used materially. Contact support for refund requests.

The Service integrates with third-party APIs (including Anthropic, Google, Cloudflare R2, and others). Your use of those integrations is subject to their respective terms.

We are not responsible for outages or data loss caused by upstream third-party providers.

We collect only the data needed to operate the Service: account info, Brand Persona data, content you generate, billing metadata, and anonymized usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies — review all output before publishing.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerityWriter and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify users via email or in-app notice.

Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
